Michelle is accomplished in yoga and can easily demonstrate the techniques
that she teaches. She is also very knowledgeable in the use of props
or modified poses. Michelle’s instruction skills are excellent. She explains to the class what types of techniques will be practiced during the class and the goals that we are attempting to achieve through the practice. Regulars in her classes learn a progression of techniques that build strength, balance, and flexibility, ultimately leading them toward more advanced poses. Michelle takes a personal interest in every student. There are always introductions made for new students. Each class begins with a “check in” so students can tell Michelle about any particular health issues they may be dealing with. She is open and approachable, and takes time to answer questions or share ideas before and after class. She will provide reading materials to students who express an interest.

Age Does Not Matter to the Practice of Yoga Aging - someone said “it
should be done gracefully”. We can meet aging with grace if our
bodies are flexible and that is what “yoga does best!” |
